  • From 2016 until present, he is a Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv, responsible for education, business development, European policies and international cooperation.
  • In 2016, he officially started for a first time a program for the introduction of the Montessori pedagogy in the public kindergartens in Bulgaria.
  • In 2016, he started the implementation of a pilot project for the introduction of leading of leading systems for management of the educational process – Google Apps for Education and Windows 365.
  • In 2016, he participates actively in the establishment of an Educational-industrial Board, whose aim is to improve the educational ecosystem as well as the linkage between the business environment and the vocational education in common programs for dual training.
  • From 2016 until present- he is a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Municipal Foundation “Plovdiv 2019”.
  • From 2011 until 2015, he was a Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv, responsible for culture, education, tourism, business development, European policies and innovations.

  • – He started a variety of educational programs and reforms in the kindergartens and schools in Plovdiv ( e-admission in kindergartens, a program for innovative schools, a program for technical support for the educational process).
  • – In 2012, he started the establishment of the Municipal Department for Business Development, which specializes for the attraction of potential investors and positions the city as an important regional center.
  • From 2011, until September 2014, he manages the team, responsible for the candidacy of the city of Plovdiv for European Capital of Culture 2019.
  • From 2005 until 2011, he was the owner and manager of a private company which operated in the field of services for international clients interested in media monitoring, media analysis, exported business processes, online marketing and etc. The company was also specialized in the preparation and marketeering of online projects and media campaigns.
  • From 2001 until 2005, he was a journalist and consequently an editor in Evropa TV.
