On September 1, at 12:00 p.m., in the Small Conference Hall at the Boris Hristov House of Culture, the Municipality of Plovdiv will present a project for creating a center for integrated social and health services at one stop in Stolipinovo district.
Project No. BGLD-3.002-0006-C01 “Creation of a Center for integrated social and health services at one stop in Stolipinovo district” is financed under the “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” Program, through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021. - https://www.eeagrants.bg. The total project cost is BGN 2,310,451.09.
The program operator of the project is the Ministry of Education and Science and the partners are the Regional Development Foundation Roma – Plovdiv and Norsensus Mediaforum – Norway. The deadline for it is 24 months /11.04.2022 – 30.04.2024/
The project aims to implement a broad program of socio-economic inclusion of vulnerable ethnic groups in the Stolipinovo district, providing improved access to administrative, social, educational and health services through the construction of a one-stop service center. The center will introduce a new approach to providing basic services to disadvantaged residents of Stolipinovo.
As a result of the project activities, 13 full-time and 4 part-time jobs will be provided. The social infrastructure in the neighborhood will be improved through the construction of a new administrative building, in which administrative, social, health and educational services will be provided in one place. By organizing public discussions and group discussions with the participation of representatives of the local municipal administration of the “East” region, through sports and cultural events, an annual sports festival, qualification courses according to need and motivation, the participation of Roma in public life, as well as in making decisions affecting the community, will increase.
