The event is part of the project activities:No. BGLD-3.002-0006-C01 “Creation of a center for integrated social and health services at one stop in Stolipinovo district”.
The project is financed by Program “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups”, through The financial mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021.
The project is implemented by the Municipality of Plovdiv, in partnership with the Regional Development Foundation “Roma-Plovdiv” and the “Norsensus Mediaforum” Foundation – Norway.
Within the project /11.04.2022 – 30.04.2024/ residents of Stolipinovo district are supported through consultations on social, educational and health issues, preventive examinations were carried out for persons without health insurance, a hot lunch was provided for people in a disadvantaged position, the language capacity of children and adults was improved, as well as access to education.
Within the framework of the project, in the Stolipinovo district and beyond, a number of campaigns and initiatives aimed at changing negative attitudes against the Roma population have been carried out.
A new administrative building was built at 61 Kalina St. in Stolipinovo district, where administrative, educational, health and social services will be provided in one place, which will improve access and quality of services for people from ethnic minorities.
