Every year on December 10 the world celebrates International Human Rights Day. On this date in 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed as one of the most important documents of the United Nations since the end of the Second World War.
In this regard the Foundation for Regional Development “Roma” and the Municipality of Plovdiv are sending an invitation to the “International Human Rights Day” event, which will be held on 09.12.2022 /Friday/ at 3:00 p.m. in the Great Conference Hall in DK “Boris Hristov”.
The program includes a presentation on the history of the creation of the International Day for the Protection of Human Rights, a discussion, opinions and opinions of the participants related to human rights and a short musical-artistic program.
The event is organized as part of the activity for tolerance under the project “Creation of a center for integrated social and health services at one stop in Stolipinovo quarter”, which is financed under the “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Improved Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” Program, through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021. https://www.eeagrants.bg
