Objectives and Expected Results:

This project, in alignment with the main objective of Procedure BG16RFPR002-1.001, aims to ensure broad and integrated understanding of cybersecurity through free access to training, consulting, and testing of digital systems for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public organizations in Bulgaria.

  1. Implementation of innovative digital cybersecurity solutions
The strategy focuses on building collective capacity to respond to large-scale cyberattacks and collaborating with global partners to ensure international security and stability in cyberspace.

  2. Providing access to activities and events
The goal is to enable easy and effective access to cybersecurity expertise at the regional, national, and European levels through established connections and membership in various organizations.
ECIH Trakia is a contracted partner of the regional representation of the EEN network and the European Cybersecurity Corridor (ECCE). ECCE is a pan-European initiative that unites cybersecurity efforts across the EU.

  3. Meeting requirements and standards defined by the European Union
The European Commission defines “advanced technologies” as a combination of digital and key enabling technologies (KETs)—technologies characterized by high R&D intensity, rapid innovation cycles, significant capital investment, and highly skilled employment. These are foundational for developing smart products and services through innovative business models and new processes.

  4. Uniting diverse partners to strengthen academic and innovation support
The project brings together institutions such as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Plovdiv University, SMEs, large companies, public administrations, and industry associations to bridge the digitalization and cybersecurity gap in Bulgaria.
