Objectives and Expected Results:
The current project, in correspondence with the main objective of Procedure BG16FFPR002-3.007 – Technical assistance for investments in zoos, is aimed at the procurement of the necessary documents related to the activity and development of the zoo of the Municipality of Plovdiv, in line with ensuring the necessary prerequisites for the development of a high quality project proposal, which will allow the timely participation in the relevant grant procedures and subsequent financing of investment projects under PE 2021-2027 for the repair/reconstruction of zoos for the fulfillment of their conservation role. The above-mentioned will be implemented through a set of interrelated interventions, in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulations – Biodiversity Act and the laws and regulations related to its implementation; Directive 1999/22/EC, etc., including: creating planning documents related to the development of the zoo of the territory of the Municipality of Plovdiv, namely: zoo development plan, collection plan, incl. – breeding plan, conservation activities plan, schedule for the implementation of zoo development activities in the presence of funding, terms of reference for an investment project, valuation analysis, preparation of documentation for public procurement, along with implementation of project management measures and ensuring visibility, transparency and communication.
