Objectives and Expected Results:
The project, in accordance with the main objective of Procedure BG-RRP-1.007 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, aims at modernizing the educational infrastructure of Elementary school “Kliment Ohridski” – Plovdiv, by carrying out interventions for major repair, renovation, introduction of EE measures and a three-story extension to the main building of the school, to achieve a complete renewed appearance and environment of the institution.

The above will be achieved through a set of interrelated interventions, incl.: 1. Implementation of EE measures in the building to achieve Class “A” and meet the requirement for buildings with close to zero energy consumption, incl. a PV source for own consumption; 2. Ensuring the accessibility of the environment, in accodrance with the requirements of Ordinance No. RD-02-20-2/26.01.2021; 3. Activities to achieve the requirements and standards of Ordinance No. 24/2020, incl. renovation and remodeling of classrooms and spaces; 4. Construction of a three-story addition to the main building, allowing the allocation of 6 new classrooms, a library with a recreation area, etc., to ensure conditions for transition to a single-shift model of education; 5. Major repair, reconstruction and renovation of the school building, incl. renovation of yard space; 6. Delivery and installation of equipment and furniture.

The envisaged interventions will contribute to achieving a renewed image of the school, to ensure conditions for quality and modern education, increase the motivation for learning, self-training and improving the educational results of students.
