Objectives and Expected Results:
The project is aimed at carrying out the complete renovation of the “St. Vasilii Veliki” – Plovdiv elderly people’s home and creating a favorable and modern environment, close to the family environment, for up to 200 users, in correspondence with the main objective of the Procedure BG-RRP-11.010 under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to bring the existing homes for the elderly in full compliance with the requirements of the quality standards of residential care for the elderly over the working age regarding the specialized environment for providing a service. The above-mentioned will be implemented through a complex set of interrelated interventions such as: reconstruction and renovation, introduction of energy efficiency measures and improvement of the home in the city of Plovdiv, along with ensuring an accessible environment in order to improve the access of people with disabilities to and within the buildings of the institution covered by the project, as well as the improvement of the facilities through new equipment and furnishings.
