Objectives and Expected Results: The current project, in correspondence with the main objective of Procedure BG-RRP-1.011, is aimed at the repair and renovation of a dormitory at the Language high school “Ivan Vazov” Plovdiv, with a view to creating a modern, up-to-date material base, equipped according to the latest educational standards, which not only contributes to providing conditions for learning, self-training and residence of students, but also provides a comfortable learning and living environment, helping to increase the motivation and improve the educational results of students, users of the building. This will be implemented through a set of interconnected interventions, in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulations (Ord.24/10.09.2020, Ord. 02-20-3/2015, PSEA, SPA, etc.), incl: 1. Carrying out major repairs and rehabilitation of a dormitory at LHS”Ivan Vazov”; 2. Introduction of EE measures to achieve class “A”(NZEB): thermal insulation of external walls, roof and floor, replacement of windows and doors, construction of heating/cooling and automation systems, implementation of measures for a hot water system, replacement of lighting, including construction of a personal solar power plant; 3. Purchase, delivery and installation of equipment and furniture; 4. Ensuring accessible environment, acc. Ord. 02-20-2/26.01.2021, in order to improve the access of people with disabilities to and within the building fund covered by the project.
The implementation of the interventions will contribute to the provision of an overall renewed image of the institution and the creation of comfortable, accessible and modern conditions for accommodation, residence, learning/self-training and activities of interest and recreation.
